Datatray (DT2) cable basket system is manufactured from pre galvanised steel.
This is recommended for indoor use in dry areas. Galvanising takes place before the manufacture of the product. This generally results in a better appearance than hot dip galvanising. It is a smooth, dull finish where the zinc finish is completely bonded to the surface.
Should any of the pre galvanized material be cut the zinc near the uncoated metal becomes a sacrificial anode to protect the bare areas in a short period of time. It will not flake and prevents any ‘whiskers’ from floating free. Standard electrical cable basket finished in electro zinc plated has a tendency ‘to ‘flake’ especially when cutting and forming accessories.
These products comply with manufacturing guidelines as recommended by the European Standards (EN50174/1 & 2) to provide a trouble free cable installation.
By adopting the 50x50mm grid, widths and heights can be manufactured to your requirements with side wall heights ranging from 50mm to an excess of 500mm and widths of over 1000mm.

The Datarax IT cable ladder
The Datarax IT cable ladder system allows the Network Installer to create a defined cable route to organise, store and deliver bundles of cables between cabinets, racks and equipment rooms. These can be suspended from ceilings, cabinets and along walls. The system features a light weight, robust and strong steel construction with a powder coat finish for long lasting durability. It is designed to give mechanical support and strain relief for long runs of cables and provide the required, smooth, bend radii.

Dedicated Data Hall Cable Containment
Dedicated data hall cable containment systems manufactured to guidelines recommended by the European Standards (EN50174/1 & 2) to provide a trouble free cable installation.
The objective is to provide a solution which is fit for purpose. So often, by default, cable baskets, designed for electrical cables, are used. Typically finished with Electrozinc plate, which can lead to the occurrence of zinc ‘spurs’, especially when forming bends/tees on site, thus causing the surface coating to flake and peel. This is overcome by supplying factory made fittings, required by the standards, having the required cable bending radii, and manufactured from pre-galvanised steel.
